It’s time for the Los Angeles community to come together and unite against the negative impacts of short-term rentals.

Using short-term rental sites like Airbnb, commercial operators are buying up homes in our neighborhoods and converting them into illegal hotels – taking away permanent housing options for city residents.

These illegal hotels are also turning our neighborhoods into a revolving door of strangers that threaten the safety of our communities, inciting violence, drug dealing, prostitution and dangerous partying.

Anne Bagasao witnessed firsthand the horrific consequences of illegal short-term rentals when rowdy drinkers renting an Airbnb next door partied outside of her mother’s hospice bed.

Watch Anne’s Story:

It’s time for L.A. leadership to protect our neighborhoods and affordable housing by supporting strong short-term rental legislation and cracking down on illegal hotels.

Join us by calling on L.A. leaders to put city residents first — and help keep our city safe and affordable for our families, our kids, and our communities.
